Patek Philippe 566R Vintage Rose gold Dramatic square shaped Art Deco Watch, Circa 1940

This watch is in the founders Iconic collection of Patek Philippe watches and not for sale.

Introduction: 
Patek Philippe 566R, 18K Rose gold square shaped watch with domed sloping triangular shape center lug measuring 25 x 38mm.  The original factory dial is rose with raised rose gold  Arabic numbers and gold dots, with a minuet track and blued steel hand.  The watch was made in 1940 and is accompanied with an extract from the archives confirming its date of manufacture and further sale in 1941.  The watch is further accompanied with a Patek lizard strap and the original rose gold buckle

Case: 
Massive bold Satin and polished square shape and sides with large polished triangular shapes on satin bezel. The case measures 25 x 38mm.   This dramatic Art Deco case is an example of reaching out to the limits of design. Case # 620889. Condition; Mint

Dial: 
Matt Rose colored (pink on pink) with 6 raised rose gold Arabic hour markers separated by rose gold dot markers, blue steel hands.  This original factory dial is mint and in its original manufacture condition. Condition; Mint as new

Movement: 
10"' 105 caliber 18-jewel round shaped movement # 900353, rhodium finished, Breguet balance spring, micrometer regulator.

Date & Paperwork Accessories:
The watch was made in 1940 and sold January 3, 1941.  Accompanied by an extract certificate from the archives confirming its date of manufacture and further sale.  Further accompanied with a Patek lizard strap and its original 1940 Patek Philippe rose gold buckle.
