Patek Philippe 425R Tegolino Art Deco watch, measuring 42.5 x 20.5.  The watch is fitted with a 9"90 caliber movement # 834952, case# 625815.  The dial is a Salmon  Rose color with lapped gold indexes.  The watch is fitted with a brown calf skin strap.  The watch is further accompanied with an extract from the archives confirming its date of manufacture in 1942 and further sale.  The watch is accompanied with its original "rooftop sloping crystal.  The watch is triple signed, dial, case, movement.

The 425 was launched in 1934 and remained in production until 1960 when it was replaced by the slightly larger reference 2461.
Together with the legendary Calatrava reference 96, This Reference 425 is and was one of Patek Philippe's most popular wristwatches.  It is a typical Art Deco architectural design serving as inspiration for the firm's other rectangular models of the time. It is fitted with the celebrated rectangular-shaped caliber 9-90, Patek Philippe’s finest non-circular movement of the period.
